NSA Best Scientific Cybersecurity Paper Competition
NSA seeks nominations for the 2013 Best Scientific Cybersecurity Paper Competition. The competition is for scientific papers published between Oct. 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2013 that show an outstanding contribution to cybersecurity science. The nomination deadline is March 31, 2014.

UMBC places 2nd in PanAm Intercollegiate Chess Championship
UMBC chess director and CSEE Professor Alan Sherman just shared the final results of the 2013 Pan-American Intercollegiate Chess Team Championship which was held over the past four days in Lubbock Texas.
